The Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) is evolving in how we connect, collaborate, and engage with our community. Over the past few years, our Circle community has served as a central hub for working groups, chapters, and training communities. While it’s been a valuable platform, we’re moving toward a more streamlined experience across our main website and Slack channels. This transition will create clearer pathways to join working groups, connect with local chapters, and engage with training and certificate communities.
Here’s what’s changing and where to go next:
Working Group Sign-Up is Moving
We’re streamlining how you join research and technical working groups. Instead of navigating through Circle and creating an account, you’ll now be able to sign up directly from the CSA website. Just visit the page of the working group that you’re interested in joining and click “Join Working Group.”
Chapter Community Pages are Moving
CSA Chapters unite cloud security professionals worldwide and empower them to collaborate on local initiatives, host events, and contribute to CSA’s global mission. Each chapter’s information will now live directly on the CSA website, making it easier to find your local chapter, access upcoming events, get in touch with leaders, and explore how to get involved.

Training Community Pages are Moving
If you’re taking a CSA training course or studying for certificates like the CCSK or CCZT, we want to make it easier to connect with other learners. CSA’s training and certificate communities will now live on Slack. These communities are designed to help you ask questions about the training and exam process, share study tips and materials, and meet others on the same path.
To access the Training communities, you’ll need to create an account with the CSA Slack community. Once you are signed up you can browse the channels and self-serve from there. Communities include:
- Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK)
- Certificate of Competence in Zero Trust (CCZT)
- Trusted AI Safety Expert (TAISE)
- Cloud Infrastructure Security Training
- STAR Lead Auditor Training
- Advanced Cloud Security Practitioner (ACSP)
